We are seeking an experienced IT Technician to join our team. As an IT Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to our employees. Responsibilities:
- Provide desktop support to end-users, including hardware and software troubleshooting
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and software applications
- Respond to service requests and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
- Utilize ticketing systems such as ServiceNow and Remedy to track and document support activities
- Assist with network troubleshooting, including LAN connectivity and VPN access
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues
- Maintain inventory of hardware and software assets
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction ```Skills```
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills: - Strong knowledge of desktop support principles and practices
- Experience with software troubleshooting and installation
- Proficiency in using ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Remedy
- Familiarity with LAN connectivity and VPN technologies
- Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS) and office productivity software (Microsoft Office)
- Experience with Jira or other issue tracking systems is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
