About the Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled individual to join our team as an IT Technician. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the optimal functioning of our IT infrastructure, supporting users, and maintaining technology systems efficiently.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, networks, and peripherals.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for hardware and software issues.
• Set up and configure new systems, including desktops, laptops, printers, and networking devices.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to operating systems, applications, and network connectivity.
• Assist with the setup and maintenance of local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and VPNs.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot network connectivity, email, and server issues.
• Perform regular software updates, security patches, and backups to ensure the integrity and security of systems.
• Maintain inventory of hardware and software assets.
• Assist in configuring and troubleshooting email and internet connections.
• Ensure data security and backup processes are followed as per the company's data management policies.
• Document and maintain clear records of technical problems, solutions, and requests.
### Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in an IT support or technician role.
• Proficiency with Windows and Mac operating systems, as well as basic networking principles.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with IT service management tools and ticketing systems.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) are beneficial.
