1- Network Security and MS Exchange.

Configuring, Handling, Monitoring & troubleshooting of Networks:

(a) LAN, WAN, TCP/IP & WI-FI Technologies

(b) Internet connectivity - ADSL, Lease Lines, Data lease Lines

(c) VPN Connectivity

(d) Bandwidth Optimizers

(e) Configuring network routers, switches, VPN tunnels & other devices

(f) Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot problems associated with network Connectivity. Configuring, Handling, Monitoring & troubleshooting of MS Exchange 2013.

(a) Managing of Server Roles

(b) Creation & maintenance of private folders

(c) Creation & maintenance of Mail-Boxes and quota allocations

(d) Setting & Configuring Backup-Restore Procedures according to Exchange Best Practices.

(e) Managing email security, email gateway, anti-spam, anti-malware through Symantec

Message Labs.

Configuring, Handling, Monitoring & Troubleshooting of VMware Virtual environment.

Take ownership and responsibility of queries, issues and problems assigned to system administrator works with vendor support contacts to resolve technical issues within the IT

infrastructure.

2- Hardware & Software:

(a) Configuring & Maintaining Windows Servers, Desktops & Laptops

(b) Installation of Operating Systems & updates - Windows Server 2008,2012R2 Enterprise& STD, 2016

(c) Support and maintain Print Servers.

(d) Monitor all devices (Servers, Netapp Storage, Fortinet Firewall, tape library, core/server farm/access switches, SAN switches, environment monitoring system) in datacenter on regular basis and inform IT manager for any issues

(a) WatchGuard

(b) Fortinet Configuring & Handling of PDC, ADC & Active Directory

Configuring, Handling, Monitoring & troubleshooting of SAN Storage

(a) Attaching & Detaching Servers to SAN Storage thru SAN Switch

(b) Creating & Attaching LUNs to servers

Configuring, Handling, Monitoring & troubleshooting of Veeam Backup

(a) Designing Backup Strategies for all Windows & SAP Server

(b) Scheduling & Managing of Daily, Weekly & Monthly Backups

(c) Managing Backup Media i.e. Tapes & NAS Drives

DR-Site Management

(a) Working Knowledge of Veeam Replication software & tools.

(b) Troubleshooting and Monitoring of all devices (WatchGuard firewall

(c) VMware, Servers, Storage, silver peak optimizer, Router) at DR site.

(d) Support IT team for DR drills.

IT Projects

(a) Coordinate multiple IT projects, having high level knowledge in design and

implementing IT infrastructure.

(b) Participate when need in the department for technical evaluation of IT projects.

(c) Contribute in creating RFP/RFQ/RFI for IT Projects.

Develop technical knowledge of each IT System/Software and Specialized knowledge of certain nominated areas.

Maintains and consistently demonstrated a general knowledge of company Guidelines, processes, practices and procedure.

Network Security (These activities will be managed/monitored with support from respective vendors who supplied the solution)

(a) Monitoring Network security infrastructure, identifying and reporting Real Time attacks/vulnerabilities on the system/network.

(b) Participate on internal/external vulnerability & penetration test(s) and Fixation of the

identified vulnerabilities on the system/network with the support of the Vendor

(c) Coordinate with vendor in Configuring, Handling, Monitoring, Reporting & troubleshooting the Aruba ClearPass Network Access Controller (NAC).

(d) Coordinate with Vendor in Configuring, Handling, Monitoring, Reporting & troubleshooting of Advance Threat Protection devices.

(e) Coordinate with Vendor Configuring, Handling, Monitoring of ManageEngine Unified Endpoint Management & Security.

Requirements

Bachelors Degree in IT or related field

10+ years of experience
