We are looking for a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance to end-users, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure the smooth functioning of IT systems. This role is crucial for maintaining productivity and resolving technical challenges promptly.Key Responsibilities:
Provide first-level support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Install, configure, and maintain computers, peripherals, and software applications.
Monitor and maintain IT systems, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and resolving hardware or software faults.
Respond to and resolve technical support tickets in a timely and professional manner.
Set up new user accounts, manage permissions, and ensure IT security compliance.
Coordinate with external vendors for the repair and maintenance of IT equipment.
Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and manage procurement when required.
Assist in IT projects, such as system upgrades and network installations.
Document technical procedures and provide user training as needed.
RequirementsQualifications and Skills:
Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist, Help Desk Technician, or similar role.
Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and software applications.
Familiarity with networking protocols, routers, and firewalls.
Experience with IT support tools and ticketing systems.
Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is an advantage.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
