Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist with expertise in Odoo ERP systems to provide technical support, manage system configurations, and optimize the company's ERP processes. The ideal candidate will handle day-to-day IT operations, resolve technical issues, and ensure seamless operation of the Odoo ERP system across departments. This role demands a strong understanding of IT infrastructure and Odoo ERP modules to enhance business processes and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Odoo ERP System Management :

• Provide technical support for the Odoo ERP platform across different modules (Sales, Accounting, Inventory, Manufacturing, HR, etc.).
• Configure, maintain, and customize Odoo ERP modules to meet business needs.
• Identify and resolve system issues, bugs, and bottlenecks within the Odoo environment.
• Manage user access, roles, and permissions within the Odoo system.
• Collaborate with the development team to implement system updates and improvements.

General IT Support :

• Provide end-user support for software, hardware, and networking issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues such as system crashes, slow performance, and software malfunctions.
• Install and configure software, hardware, and peripherals for new employees and workstations. Ensure timely backup of data and system recovery procedures.

Monitor and manage the company's IT infrastructure (servers, networks, printers, etc.).

Training and Documentation :

• Train employees on Odoo ERP functionalities and IT best practices.
• Provide regular training sessions for staff on new Odoo features and IT tools.

Collaboration :

• Work closely with other departments (Sales, Finance, Operations) to understand their ERP-related needs and provide solutions. Collaborate with external vendors or consultants for Odoo ERP customization or major IT projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in IT support, with a focus on Odoo ERP systems.
• In-depth knowledge of Odoo ERP modules, architecture, and customization.
• Familiarity with Python (for Odoo customizations), PostgreSQL, and other relevant programming languages.
