Job Summary:



We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled IT Networking Operational Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our IT infrastructure, ensuring the seamless functioning of both networking and server systems. This individual will manage, maintain, and optimize our server environments, with a focus on Linux and Apple software, while also overseeing network operations to ensure reliability and performance. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of networking principles, server administration, and experience with both Linux and Apple operating systems. Additionally, they should have strong leadership abilities to effectively manage a team, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and collaborate with other departments to align IT infrastructure with business needs.

Key Responsibilities:



Server Management & Maintenance:



Oversee the configuration, installation, and maintenance of server infrastructure (both physical and virtual). Administer and support Linux-based servers, ensuring uptime and high performance.

Manage Apple servers and related systems, including macOS Server for file sharing, network services, and system updates.

Perform regular server audits, backups, and disaster recovery planning. Network

Infrastructure Management:



Design, implement, and optimize network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and secure connectivity. Configure and maintain networking devices (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.), monitoring network performance, and troubleshooting any network issues. Ensure compliance with security protocols and manage network security tools. System &

Software Integration:



Ensure smooth integration of Linux and Apple systems with other enterprise applications and platforms. Implement and maintain operating system and software updates across Linux and Apple environments. Collaborate with the development and operations teams to optimize system performance and security. Team Leadership & Collaboration: Lead a team of network and system administrators, providing mentorship, training, and performance reviews. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical requirements and support the organization's operational goals. Oversee helpdesk and support services related to networking and server infrastructure. Incident and Problem Management:

Lead troubleshooting efforts for network and server-related incidents, ensuring timely resolution.

Develop and implement problem management processes to reduce the likelihood of recurring incidents.

Documentation & Reporting:



Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation for system configurations, network topologies, and operational procedures. Provide regular reports on system performance, network health, and security audits to management.

Security & Compliance:



Enforce security best practices across Linux and Apple systems to prevent vulnerabilities and ensure data integrity. Manage user access controls, permissions, and network security policies. Ensure IT operations comply with relevant industry regulations and standards.

Education & Experience:



Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

5+ years of experience in IT operations management, with hands-on expertise in Linux server administration, networking, and Apple software.

Proven track record of managing complex IT infrastructures and teams.

Technical Skills:



Expertise in Linux server administration (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat).

Strong experience with macOS and Apple-based servers (macOS Server, File Sharing, etc.).

In-depth understanding of networking protocols, routing, and security (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.). Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, Docker). Experience with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting.

Certifications (Preferred):



1. Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or higher.

2. Linux Professional Institute Certification (LPIC-1 or higher).

3. Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) or Apple Certified System Administrator (ACSA).

Soft Skills:



Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
