Job Title: IT Support Specialist (4+ Years Experience)

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist with at least 4 years of hands-on experience in CCTV setup, WiFi network configuration, network cabling, as well as expertise in Office 365 and Active Directory. The ideal candidate will provide technical support, installation, and maintenance for various IT systems, ensuring smooth daily operations for our business and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and maintain CCTV systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Configure and troubleshoot WiFi networks to ensure seamless connectivity for users.
• Install and maintain network cabling (ethernet and fiber optics) for office spaces, ensuring connectivity standards are met.
• Provide ongoing technical support for hardware, software, and network issues, both on-site and remotely.
• Administer and troubleshoot Office 365 environments, including user account management, licenses, and email setups.
• Manage Active Directory for user authentication, access management, and group policy configuration.
• Assist in migration to Office 365, ensuring seamless data transfer and system integration.
• Collaborate with teams to set up and configure computer hardware and peripherals (printers, scanners, etc.).
• Perform regular system maintenance, including hardware upgrades, software installations, and network optimizations.
• Monitor and resolve network performance issues, ensuring optimal system uptime.
• Ensure that network security and IT infrastructure are up to date and compliant with company policies.
• Document troubleshooting procedures, technical issues, and maintenance steps.
• Assist with the setup of new equipment, including desktop computers, laptops, and mobile devices.
• Provide training and support to end users on the proper use of hardware and software systems.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT support or related technical roles.
• Proven experience in CCTV installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of WiFi network setup, optimization, and security.
• Experience with network cabling, including installing and maintaining Ethernet and fiber optic cables.
• Expertise in Office 365 administration, including user management, troubleshooting, and email configuration.
• Strong understanding of Active Directory management, user accounts, permissions, and group policies.
• Familiarity with various operating systems (Windows, Mac OS, Linux).
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues efficiently.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, CCTV-specific certifications).

Preferred Skills:

• CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) and CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) certifications are a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud-based services and applications, specifically Microsoft 365.
• Experience with network switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Basic knowledge of network security protocols and tools.
