Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:



System Administration: Administer and monitor IT systems, ensuring they run efficiently and securely. This includes operating systems, email, and software applications. User Support: Provide technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network-related issues. Resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner. Security: Implement and manage security protocols to safeguard the company's data and IT systems, including firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion detection systems. Data Backup & Recovery: Ensure proper data backup procedures are in place and regularly tested for recovery. Implement disaster recovery strategies to minimize downtime. Software Updates: Install and configure software updates, patches, and new releases across the organization's IT systems. Configure, manage, and maintain LAN/WAN networks, routers, switches, and firewalls. o Monitor and troubleshoot network performance and connectivity issues Implement and maintain network and system security, including firewalls and antivirus. o Conduct regular security audits to identify vulnerabilities and resolve threats Inventory Management: Maintain an up-to-date inventory of hardware and software assets, ensuring licenses are current and compliant. Documentation: Create and update documentation for IT policies, procedures, and network configurations. Vendor Management: Liaise with third-party vendors for the procurement, maintenance, and servicing of IT equipment and services. IT Strategy Support: Assist in the development and execution of the organization's IT strategy, including capacity planning and technology roadmaps Network & Server Management: Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network and server infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, routers, firewalls, and switches. Hands on experience on Microsoft Dynamics 365.

REQUIREMENTS:



Bachelor's degree in information technology or computer science. 3 years experience will be considered Proven work experience as a technical support engineer. Knowledge of web services, API, and IP-based protocols. Experience with scripting languages such as Perl or Shell. Knowledge of computer hardware and networking systems. Good time management skills. Good interpersonal skills. Ability to troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to think critically.

Pay: AED5,500.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
