IT Support EngineerDicetek is seeking a proactive and skilled IT Support Engineer to join our team in Dubai. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, supporting IT infrastructure, and ensuring seamless IT operations across the organization, including remote and on-site locations. You will work closely with network engineers, vendors, and internal teams to maintain optimal system performance while implementing IT security best practices. Gender: AnyKey Responsibilities:- Troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware issues through on-site support and remote assistance, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Work with network engineers to configure and manage network access and changes as per business needs.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to resolve IT-related issues, adhering to service level agreements (SLAs).
- Assist in the implementation of IT business applications and provide support during deployment phases.
- Gather IT infrastructure requirements for setting up new site offices, modifying existing setups, and discontinuing services.
- Maintain and update IT asset inventory, including laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other hardware.
- Oversee and reconcile email account licenses and software subscriptions.
- Ensure security and privacy measures are maintained across networks and IT systems.
- Develop and contribute to knowledge databases by documenting common issues and solutions.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce equipment failures and support business continuity.
- Provide training and technical guidance to end-users and junior IT staff.Required Skills and Experience:- Bachelor\'s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for software, hardware, and network issues.
- Familiarity with IT security protocols, data privacy policies, and system administration.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to provide high-quality customer service.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Experience with IT asset management, inventory tracking, and IT procurement processes.
