He also assists IT Manager with hotel projects and proactively perform preventive maintenance.Responsibilities
To ensure guest bedrooms have working HSIA and IRES Systems To assist hotel guests with the HSIA and IRES Systems
To maintain the HSIA and IRES Systems in the hotel
To assist hotel guests with other IT related issues
To ensure guest bedrooms have a working Television
To ensure hotel guest room equipment is in working order and presentable
To attend daily meetings with IT Manager
To ensure internal Conference and Meetings are set up if requested for IT needs
To assist colleagues with day-to-day issues
To escalate issues to the Director of IT if the IT Manager is unavailable in a reasonable time or if the IT Manager is on leave
Establishes network users, user environments, directories, and security for networks
Checking daily backups, system interfaces, server hardware and logs.
Documenting, archiving correspondence and troubleshooting, follow up suppliers\' visits and maintenance.
Supports Telephony Infrastructure IP PBX, IP-DECT, Company Mobile
Maintain asset register for IT assets
Assist with identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware faults and software issues
Assist with the implementation of new technologies, equipment, and network services
Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or GED and/or an associate\'s degree
Proven experience in a similar role in a five-star luxury hotel operation
Hotel pre-opening experience in the UAE or Middle East is an advantage
Ability to transport, set up and fix equipment
Knowledge of camera and lighting techniques and editing software
Must be creative and flexible with strong communication skills and the ability to interact with colleagues and clients, often under deadline pressure
Proficient with computer systems used in multimedia production, word processing skills
Able to sit and stand for long periods of time and have good hearing and eyesight
Outstanding communication skills, with fluency in English, both written & verbal
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and interact effectively with guests, colleagues, vendors and stakeholders at all levels.
