Our client is a leading wellness company from the USA. The IT Specialist will be responsible for the daily maintenance of the company's ICT systems, ensuring alignment with Global IT directives. Reporting to the Managing Director, the IT Specialist will also work closely with the APAC and Global IT teams. As the role involves deskside support, strong communication skills are essential, with the ability to explain solutions and instructions to users in clear and simple terms.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

o Set up user devices with email accounts and various other software packages.

o Install and configure appropriate software on a per user basis.

o Maintain and improve local network performance.

o Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems are kept updated.

o Provide support to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment.

o Organize and schedule upgrades on user devices without disrupting workflow.

o Perform troubleshooting to resolve network or computer related issues.

o Maintain user accounts through Office 365.

o Create, modify, and maintain user permissions on SharePoint.

o Liaise with local IT vendors and ensure service levels are met.

o Maintain printer and scanner functionality and liaise with vendors for any further

troubleshooting.

o Responsible for submitting IT requests in Jira, monitoring and tracking progress.

o Gather user feedback and escalate critical issues to APAC and Global IT team promptly.

o Execute other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

o Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field.

o Microsoft Windows, Office 365, Azure, SharePoint, and Networking experience are essential.

o 2-3 years' experience personally serving at a Help Desk or IT Support function.

o Excellent problem-solving skills.

o Experience with Active Directory.

o In depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks.

o Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles.

o Certification as IT Technician will be an advantage (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional)
