Job Title: IT Solutions & Network Engineer

Summary:

The IT Solutions & Network Engineer is a versatile technical professional who combines expertise in both IT solutions design and network infrastructure management. This role requires a strong understanding of both areas to effectively design, implement, and maintain technology solutions that meet the needs of our clients or internal business units.

Responsibilities:

IT Solutions:

• Needs Analysis:
• Gather and analyze technical requirements from clients or internal stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Conduct site assessments to evaluate existing IT infrastructure.
• Solution Design and Development:
• Design and develop customized IT solutions, encompassing hardware, software, network components, and cloud services.
• Create detailed solution proposals, including network architecture diagrams and security considerations.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, secure, and aligned with industry best practices.
• Implementation and Support:
• Oversee the implementation of solutions, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors.
• Configure and deploy hardware and software components.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for implemented solutions.

Network Engineering:

• Network Design and Implementation:
• Design, configure, and implement network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks.
• Ensure network security through proper configuration of firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security measures.
• Network Management and Maintenance:
• Monitor network performance, identify and resolve network issues, and optimize network efficiency.
• Perform network maintenance tasks, including software and firmware upgrades, security patching, and backups.
• Maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and policies.
• Troubleshooting and Support:
• Provide technical support to users for network connectivity and related issues.
• Troubleshoot network problems, diagnose root causes, and implement solutions.

General Responsibilities:

• Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams, departments, and vendors to ensure seamless integration of solutions.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all solutions and network infrastructure.
• Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of the latest technologies, trends, and best practices in both IT solutions and networking.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience:

• Technical Skills:
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components (servers, storage, virtualization).

• Knowledge of different operating systems (Windows, Linux) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with network monitoring tools and security practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month

• IT networks: 4 years (Required)
