Job Description

:Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and oversee FnB IT projects and initiatives, from inception to completion, ensuring on-time delivery, within budget, and according to specifications.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of technical programs and projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and report on project performance, providing regular updates to stakeholders and senior management on milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues.
  • Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and external partners as needed to support project objectives and requirements.
  • Laise within departments to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions, leveraging emerging technologies and trends to drive innovation and efficiency.
  • Coordinate and facilitate cross-functional team meetings, workshops, and discussions to drive consensus, resolve issues, and ensure effective communication.
  • Implement and enforce IT security measures, protocols, and controls to protect organizational data, assets, and privacy, responding to security incidents and breaches as needed.
  • Manage the design, implementation, and maintenance of FnB IT systems, infrastructure, and networks, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, industry best practices, and security standards.
  • Evaluate and recommend hardware, software, and cloud services, negotiating contracts and agreements with vendors and service providers to maximize value and ROI.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability, identifying and addressing issues, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and manage FnB IT budgets, forecasts, and expenditures, tracking costs and resources to optimize spending and support strategic initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the FnB IT department , promoting knowledge sharing, teamwork, and accountability.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master\'s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (X years) in FnB IT management, with a focus on technical programs, operations, infrastructure management, and project delivery in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams.

  • Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to IT operations, security, and compliance.

  • Solid technical background with knowledge of software development, infrastructure, networking, and cloud technologies.
