Position Overview:The IT Solutions Architect is responsible for designing and implementing technology solutions that align with the strategic objectives of the organization. This role involves working closely with business leaders, IT teams, and external vendors to develop architectures that meet both current and future business needs. The Solutions Architect will ensure that solutions are scalable, secure, and sustainable, leveraging the latest technologies and best practices in IT architecture.Key Responsibilities:
Develop and design comprehensive IT solutions that address business requirements and align with the organization\'s goals, including software, hardware, network, and infrastructure components.
Create and maintain architectural blueprints, diagrams, and documentation to guide the development and integration of IT systems.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and platforms that could enhance the organization\'s IT capabilities. Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Work closely with stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and third-party vendors, to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure that solutions meet business needs.
Ensure that all IT solutions adhere to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies, including security and data privacy regulations.
Oversee the integration of various systems, applications, and platforms, ensuring seamless interoperability and data flow across the organization\'s IT landscape.
Lead the technical aspects of IT projects, providing oversight and direction to ensure successful delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints.
Address and resolve architectural and technical issues that arise during the development and implementation of IT solutions.
Create and maintain detailed documentation for solutions architecture, including design specifications, system configurations, and integration processes.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior architects, developers, and other IT staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications:Education:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Masters degree or relevant certifications are preferred.
Experience:
10 years of experience in IT architecture, systems integration, and solution design.
Proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale IT solutions in complex environments.
Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud-based architectures.
Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or similar.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in software development methodologies, including Agile and DevOps.
Expertise in system integration, including APIs, microservices, SOA, and middleware.
Strong knowledge of security architecture, including identity management, encryption, and access control.
Experience with database design and management (SQL/NoSQL) and data integration.
