To provide first level support for all FES Services. To be responsible for tickets dispatched to the UAE Abu Dhabi & Dubai South area, ensuring correct categorisation and timely delivery. To ensure that all DHL Security requirements and legal obligations regarding software licensing are communicated to the IT Services Manager. To maintain/manage IT Infrastructure as per DHL standards and ensure have DR plan in place.YOUR TASK\xc2\xb7 To deliver the configured machine to the user, connect to the network and ensure that the user is satisfied with the service provided.\xc2\xb7 To provide the user with basic training to utilize the PC or operations equipment and avoid future problems.\xc2\xb7 To respond with the appropriate degree of urgency to problems and requests from the Service Desk for user support.\xc2\xb7 To respond to requests for equipment set up for meetings and presentations.\xc2\xb7 To participate in country projects with an IS element as and when required.\xc2\xb7 To support all Field deployed IT equipment within UAE department.\xc2\xb7 Provide server and other equipment set-up support to Abu Dhabi & Dubai South area projects with an IT element.\xc2\xb7 To maintain all Services and hardware at agreed operational performance levels.\xc2\xb7 To resolve problems either through personal action or by organising resolution through the ITSC Helpdesk or a third party vendor.\xc2\xb7 To set up personal computer for both hardware and authorized software.\xc2\xb7 To ensure the functionality and accessibility of all shared peripherals such as printers, plotters, scanners, etc\xc2\xb7 To ensure that all personal computers have installed with DHL Standard OS, with the latest anti virus software and that all automatic updates are being installed in a timely manner.\xc2\xb7 Plan, deploy and commission new servers / workstations including installation of relevant OS and software to handle increasing business and an expanding user base within the context of relevant MEA policies and procedures.\xc2\xb7 Plan and deploy software while maintaining asset management, security policies and agreed standard operating environmentYOUR PROFILE\xc2\xb7 5 years experience in a technical support role\xc2\xb7 Degree in Information Services / Business (or equivalent)\xc2\xb7 Communication skills in English bothspoken and written, other languages is an advantage\xc2\xb7 Technical expertise ino Personal computer set up and preparation for use both hardware and softwareo 1st Level hardware and software troubleshootingo Server set up and preparation for use (hardware and software)o IBM / Intel compatible PC hardware configurationso Windows 10/11 operating systems\xc2\xb7 Support of standard desktop applications such aso Microsoft Office 365, Outlook, Visio, etc.o TCP/IP, SMTP, DNS, DHCP, ADo Internet technologieso Zebra Scannerso Network Printers
