About this opportunity
We are looking for an \xe2\x80\x9cIT Security Specialist & IT Enterprise System Admin\xe2\x80\x9d. This will be an onsite position in UAE for an IT Managed Services operations within a sophisticated service delivery framework and strict SLAs!
What you will do
- Manage Pulse Policy Secure (NAC), Symantec Endpoint Protection, and Microsoft Public key Infrastructure, Bluecoat Secure Web Gateway, Content Analysis, Malware Analysis Microsoft TMG, & DigiCert Enterprise Certificate Management.
- Good knowledge about process / metrics and controls. Ability to create new process and reporting matrices as and when required.
- Identify and implement operational and technical methods for improving the efficiency and quality of processes. Identify the existing gaps and propose optimum solution to address the same.
- Advise the L1 & L2 teams on resolution. Provide technical expertise and handle escalated issues. Mentor L1 & L2 engineers to improve their technical and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding and knowledge on IT \xe2\x80\x93 Security Functions, in-depth product functionality and customization.
- Review periodic performance report on IT \xe2\x80\x93 Security Tools and provide guidance on performance tuning and capacity planning.
- Provide recommendation plan to coordinate/support incident response process for remediation
- Perform root cause analysis, trending and reporting for critical incidents.
- Participate in security incident response - implementing containment and remediation through Security Tools.
- Demonstrate technical skills in security architecture review, gap analysis and opportunity to fine-time and/or integrate security technologies
You will bring
- Engineering Degree with 7 to 12 years of experience in IT.
- Interested in Technology and Communication.
- Ability to work constructively under pressure and flexible to support outside of business hours.
- Team player and focused on knowledge transfer.
- Customer oriented, Service minded.
- Excellent communication skills

- Manage the IT \xe2\x80\x93 Security Tools to clients (24 x 7, 365 days per year) and ensure that service levels are achieved.
- Proven experience & Operations knowledge on IT - Security tools such as Pulse Policy Secure (NAC), Symantec Endpoint Protection, and Microsoft Public key Infrastructure, Bluecoat Secure Web Gateway, Content Analysis, Malware Analysis Microsoft TMG, & DigiCert Enterprise Certificate Management.
- Good understanding and knowledge on IT \xe2\x80\x93 Security functions and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong understanding of information security principles and security best practices.
- Strong knowledge on enhancing and strengthening the IT \xe2\x80\x93 Security tools and polices.
- Strong knowledge on system upgrades and maintenance activities
