Job Description

As an IT Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating new business, managing client relationships, and driving sales of our IT products and services. You will work closely with prospective and existing clients to understand their IT needs and offer solutions that align with their business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events. Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of leads and prospects.
• Client Engagement: Engage with clients to understand their IT needs, challenges, and goals. Present and demonstrate our products and services in a way that addresses their specific requirements.
• Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve targets and expand market share. Collaborate with the sales team to create tailored solutions and proposals for clients.
• Product Knowledge: Stay informed about the latest IT trends, technologies, and products. Utilize this knowledge to provide clients with up-to-date information and recommendations.
• Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients. Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process and beyond.
• Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate terms and pricing with clients to close deals. Prepare and present contracts and agreements, ensuring a smooth and successful transaction process.
• Reporting & Documentation: Track sales activities, pipeline progress, and client interactions using CRM software. Provide regular reports on sales performance and market trends to management.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the technical team to ensure client requirements are understood and met. Coordinate with internal departments to deliver seamless solutions and support.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT sales or a related role. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Skills: Strong understanding of IT products, services, and solutions. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Attributes: Results-driven with a customer-centric approach. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
