IT Project Manager

Bilingual Preferred (English & Arabic)

Academic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering, With PMP/Scrum Master Certification; at least one but both preferred.

Minimum 6 years of experience in Project Management role.

Office work: 70%

Field work: 30%

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

The project manager is expected to be able to manage projects in a professional manner by performing the following project-based tasks:

• Understand and effectively master the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Manage all phases of assigned IT projects, including initiation, planning, execution, implementation, and post-implementation activities, leveraging best practice standards and processes.
• Be accountable for the development and documentation of project plans, work break down structures, stakeholder analysis, risks and issues logs, communication plans and other documents as per the best practice in conjunction with project team members and other involved IT and business teams

. o Apply project management tools to manage all aspects of project progress and create project status reports highlighting critical issues for management and overall status of the project.

• Have all project documents methodically saved in project repository.
• Manage project closure activities including sign-off and ensure that all project deliverables are completed and handed over according to contractual requirements.
• Collect contract performance data and monitor performance against KPIs, monitor compliance with Client terms and conditions and take appropriate steps to address non-compliance issues.
• Monitor and report on project traction and progress and as necessary, coordinate the development, discussion, and approval of corrective action and/or contingency plans.
• Foresee potential risks associated with projects scope, time, and cost, and ensure risk response and mitigation plans are in place, executed and reported.
• Investigate and make recommendations on issues that challenge scope boundaries.
• Plan and implement change management work as project deliverables are rolled out, including activities such as training, communication, and documentation.
• Obtain management and client agreement with the project plan and timeline and advise of any obstacles or resource needs that may affect completion of the project as planned.
• Manage internal stakeholders' relations to ensure that project delivery expectations are specified and met.
• Engage project external stakeholders and communicate project updates, and to comply with approved regulations and strategies at Dubai Government.
• Ensure project activities and deliverables adhere to internal quality standards.
• Contribute towards the selection of competent vendors in a transparent and a fair manner through the Organization's official vendor evaluation process.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of project
• Pursue agile project management methodologies wherever applicable.
• Perform other responsibilities associated with this position when appropriate.

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED13,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
