Job Description

The IT Network Engineer will focus on maintaining the IT Infrastructure environment and supporting business functions in terms of technologies. The IT Network Engineer will ensure that IT Network Infrastructure is maintained in compliance with Seer Solution's IT Security Standards. The post holder will report to the IT Manager and continue to work with the various departments & entities of Seer Solution for continuous improvement and standardization.

Main responsibilities include

:

? Maintaining and administering computer networks and related computing environments including systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurations.

? Performing disaster recovery operations and data backups when required.

? Protecting data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning, and implementing network security measures.

? Maintaining, configuring, and monitoring virus protection software and email applications.

? Monitoring network performance to determine if adjustments need to be made.

? Operating master consoles to monitor the performance of networks and computer systems.

? Designing, configuring, and testing networking software, computer hardware, and operating system software.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject

? 8 + years of professional experience in network engineering and administration

? Certifications like CCNP /CCIE (Routing & Switching) / NSE 6 certification (or equivalent)

Experience & Requirements

? Strong understanding of networking protocols & network monitoring tools

? Experience with

Network security tools and technologies & cloud-based networking FortiGate Firewall Cisco Nexus/Cisco Firepower/Cisco ASR WAN Optimizations device/ load balancers/ MPLS, SD-WAN, CDN/CUCM (Call Manager)/CISCO umbrella/ Cisco UCS
? Banking sector experience is preferable.
