The IT Manager - Data Transformation & Artificial Intelligence is responsible for leading and executing the organization's data transformation and AI initiatives. This role focuses on implementing cutting-edge technologies to improve data management, enhance decision-making, and drive innovation. The incumbent will oversee complex projects, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure alignment with business objectives. The role also emphasizes compliance, risk management, and vendor collaboration to deliver efficient and secure solutions. Responsibilities Develop and execute comprehensive IT strategies for data transformation and AI in alignment with organizational goals. Oversee the end-to-end implementation of data transformation and AI projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes. Manage multiple complex projects concurrently, ensuring adherence to scope, timelines, and budgets. Coordinate efforts across cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, analysts, and external stakeholders. Lead data migration, integration, and transformation initiatives to modernize the organization's data infrastructure. Implement and oversee data warehousing, ETL processes, and data pipeline management. Design, develop, and deploy AI and machine learning models to solve business problems and enhance operational efficiencies. Identify opportunities to integrate AI technologies into business processes for predictive analytics, process automation, and strategic decision-making. Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, ensuring alignment with project goals. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of AI and data transformation solutions. Identify and mitigate risks associated with data transformation and AI implementations. Build, mentor, and lead a team of IT professionals, developing a collaborative and innovative work environment. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred. Certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are preferred. Minimum of 14 years of experience in the IT industry, with a focus on data transformation and AI projects. Proven track record of implementing data transformation and AI solutions in complex organizational settings. Expertise in managing large-scale IT projects, including multiple stakeholders and teams. Experience in Big 4 consultancy environments or equivalent is highly desirable. A candidate with hands-on experience in implementing multiple business use cases in AI will be preferred. Strong understanding of data management, data warehousing, ETL processes, and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark). Proficiency in AI and machine learning tools and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn). Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Knowledge of data privacy regulations, including GDPR and CCPA. Strong understanding of IT governance and risk management principles. Seniority level
