#### About the job IT Manager


Are you a tech-savvy leader with a passion for driving innovation and managing IT infrastructure? City University Ajman is seeking a motivated and experienced IT Manager to join our team.



Responsibilities:


•Ensure quality standards, schedules, and requirements are met.•


•Work across multiple disciplines, independently and in group settings; be a team player and collaborate with multiple IT contracting companies.•


•Define solutions for unique business requirements, coordinate necessary skills for implementation, and manage teams as needed.•


•Measure performance in terms of defined goals.•


•Deploy efficient technologies to meet business requirements.•


•Manage IT budgets and optimize resource allocation.•


•Manage IT service providers accounts for the University.•


•Mentor and coach software development teams in a variety of application environments, identifying potential points of failure and facilitating action plans to address these issues.•


•Identify, define, and implement policies for IT.•


•Identify and mitigate risks to the enterprise.•


•Design patterns, service-oriented architecture, solution frameworks, technical patterns, and technical services to support IT infrastructure.•


•Manage multiple, diverse technical configurations, technologies, and processing environments, including database management systems, operating systems, application servers, web servers, web services, workflow, security, and portals.•



Qualifications:


•Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; a masters degree is a plus.•


•A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management, preferably within a university or educational setting.•


•Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.•


•Proven experience managing IT budgets and resources efficiently.•


•Expertise in service-oriented architecture, technical design patterns, and various IT systems (database management, web services, workflow, security).•


•Ability to mentor and coach technical teams.•


•Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to mitigate risks.•


•Proficiency in English and Arabic is highly desirable.•
