Are you a tech-savvy leader with a passionfor driving innovation and managing IT infrastructure? City University Ajman isseeking a motivated and experienced IT Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

•Ensurequality standards, schedules, and requirements are met.•

•Workacross multiple disciplines, independently and in group settings; be a teamplayer and collaborate with multiple IT contracting companies.•

•Definesolutions for unique business requirements, coordinate necessary skills forimplementation, and manage teams as needed.•

•Measureperformance in terms of defined goals.•

•Deployefficient technologies to meet business requirements.•

•ManageIT budgets and optimize resource allocation.•

•ManageIT service providers accounts for the University.•

•Mentorand coach software development teams in a variety of application environments,identifying potential points of failure and facilitating action plans toaddress these issues.•

•Identify,define, and implement policies for IT.•

•Identifyand mitigate risks to the enterprise.•

•Designpatterns, service-oriented architecture, solution frameworks, technicalpatterns, and technical services to support IT infrastructure.•

•Managemultiple, diverse technical configurations, technologies, and processingenvironments, including database management systems, operating systems,application servers, web servers, web services, workflow, security, andportals.•

Qualifications:

•Bachelorsdegree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; amasters degree is a plus.•

•Aminimum of 5 years of experience in IT management, preferably within auniversity or educational setting.•

•Strongleadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.•

•Provenexperience managing IT budgets and resources efficiently.•

•Expertisein service-oriented architecture, technical design patterns, and various ITsystems (database management, web services, workflow, security).•

•Abilityto mentor and coach technical teams.•

•Strongproblem-solving skills and the ability to mitigate risks.•

•Proficiencyin English and Arabic is highly desirable.•
