Position Overview

Sohail Smart Solutions, a leading training and consultancy company based in the UAE and licensed by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), is seeking a motivated and talented IT Intern with a focus on website development. This remote, unpaid internship is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates to gain practical experience in web development and enhance their technical skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of company websites.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development technologies.
• Help manage website content and ensure it is up-to-date and accurate.
• Identify and resolve technical issues related to website functionality and performance.
• Assist in optimizing websites for speed, scalability, and user experience.
• Work closely with the design and marketing teams to implement new features and improvements.
• Conduct thorough testing of websites to ensure compatibility across different browsers and devices.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress or Joomla.
• Basic knowledge of back-end technologies (e.g., PHP, Python) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
