The Role

: o Manage and maintain the IT infrastructure of the oil and gas company, including hardware, software, networks, and servers. o Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer systems, software, and peripheral devices. o Provide technical support to end-users in the oil and gas company, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient operations. o Collaborate with other IT professionals and departments to design and implement IT solutions tailored to the needs. o Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices for IT security and data protection. o Monitor system performance and security, implementing necessary measures to safeguard critical data and infrastructure. o Stay up to date with the latest technologies and trends in the oil and gas industry, recommending and implementing improvements where necessary. o Document IT processes, procedures, and system configurations, ensuring clear and concise documentation for future reference.



Requirements

Position Title: IT Engineer Employment Type: Contract - 1 year renewable Salary: all inclusive depending on experience and qualifications Job Location: UAE About the Client: A leading oil and gas company in UAE. Qualifications: o Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. o Relevant IT certifications (e.g., Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), CompTIA A+), with a focus on IT solutions for the oil and gas industry preferred. o Experience with IT systems and networks in the oil and gas industry, including specialized software and hardware. o Knowledge of IT security best practices specific to the oil and gas industry. o Fluency in English and Arabic is often preferred. o Experience working in the oil and gas industry is a plus.
