Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Engineer specializing in Networking and Servers to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's network infrastructure and server systems. The ideal candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of networking protocols, server technologies, and have a proven track record of successfully managing and optimizing IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Network Design and Implementation:
• Design, implement, and maintain robust and scalable network solutions.
• Evaluate and recommend improvements to existing network architecture.
• Ensure network security and implement best practices to safeguard data and systems.
• Server Management:
• Administer and maintain server environments, including both physical and virtual servers.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot server operating systems (Windows Server, Linux, etc.).
• Monitor server performance, resource utilization, and implement optimizations as needed.
• Networking Protocols and Technologies:

Proficient in TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN, and other networking protocols.

Experience with routing and switching technologies to ensure efficient data flow.

• Security and Compliance:
• Implement and manage security measures to protect against unauthorized access and data breaches.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and compliance standards, ensuring the organization's IT infrastructure meets regulatory requirements.
• Troubleshooting and Support:
• Provide timely and effective support to resolve networking and server-related issues.
• Collaborate with other IT teams and departments to address and resolve technical challenges.
• Documentation:
• Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, server setups, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Create and update documentation for IT policies and procedures.
• Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as an IT Engineer with a focus on networking and servers.
• Certifications such as Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Network+, and Microsoft Certified: Windows Server are a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Preferred Skills:
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, Python) for automation.

Pay: From AED6,000.00 per month
