The Team:

Our dedicated ELV Consultancy play a key role in digitally enabling the built environment to provide a technologically enhanced environment commensurate with our clients needs. We pride ourselves on being a market leader in our field, working globally with high profile clients in fin tech, HQ offices, smart campuses and smart buildings. Our reputation has led to us advising on global technology benchmarking and technological certification of buildings.

We work across a range of market sectors including leading entertainment venues, workspace and residential, mission critical and academia, work that has seen us feed into the new technical approach for UK schools and assessing smart systems for the technical evolution of Muscat in Oman.

Operating globally our Team is based in Dubai close to Dubai Marina, as well as Central London right next to St Paul's Cathedral, Warsaw with views of ?azienki Park, in the heart of Singapore near Orchard Central and in Hong Kong a short walk from Victoria Harbour.
The Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for a ELV Consultant who wants to grow and develop with a leading ELV Team in Dubai. You will have a foundation knowledge of IT, AV and Security systems based on an academic background with some work-based experience. An ability to engage and interact with stakeholders, join us to play a role in ensuring the successful delivery of innovative design solutions, whilst receiving technical training, experiences and new digital skillsets.

You will collaborate within the wider Cundall team and external partners, working closely with colleagues of various disciplines to help the delivery of technically excellent and successful projects. The role will include design delivery, technical calculations, producing models and drawings. You will achieve this against established deliverables, through mentoring and team management.

You will also support, and be supported by, senior management staff within the team, embracing the collaborative and supportive behaviours Cundall exhibit.
The Skills:

Educated to degree level in Electronics Engineering or Computer Sciences (MEng, BEng or BSc), working towards, or already be, a member of a professional institute. You will be aiming for a career in ELV and technology systems design and construction.



Essential traits for the successful candidate include:



• Ability to take ownership for tasks and deliverables.
• Capacity to think around problems and help guide the team and client towards solutions.
• Organised and confident communicator
• Have previous experience in the consultancy industry.
• Knowledge and experience in designing and managing Extra Low Voltage distribution systems including but not limited to:
• Active IT Systems .
• Structured Cabling System.
• Access Control System, Intruder Detection System, Video Surveillance (CCTV) and other security systems.
• Video Conference and Audio-Visual Equipment, Public Address.



• Design of all assigned project drawings in accordance to company and project instructions (Single line diagrams, installation details, wiring diagrams, etc.)
• Have knowledge of writing reports and specifications.
• Conduct site visits and assessment, as required to execute design work when required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
• Working knowledge of document production using Autodesk software as Revit, Navis works and BIM 360.
• Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
• Able to work on AutoCAD drawings.
• Be self-motivated and good communication skills including written and spoken.
