Job Description
IT ENGINEER/ IT ADMINISTRATOR
• Monitoring and maintaining network servers such as file servers, VPN gateways and intrusion detection systems.
• Well Knowledge in MS office all products, windows related issues and data backup/recovery.
• Knowledge in ERP software in the construction field is a plus.
• Administering and Installing the Office 365 and desktop application (MS share point, Teams, Power point, One Drive).
• Well Knowledge in Installing and administering the Windows server 2008&2008 R2 ,2012 R2, 2022 and SQL server.
• Installing and configuring the Firewall (SonicWall), FortiGate with site to site, SSL and IP Sec VPN, Wireless routers, Access Controls (Cisco Meraki), MFP and network printers.
• Performing system upgrades following new releases, Maintaining internal documentation.
• Administering, Installing and managing all office related software and setting up workstation for new users.
• Well Knowledge in CCTV installation, backup monitoring (DVR and NVR) and access control.
• Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
• Manage IT hardware asset portfolio with respect to risk, cost control, governance, compliance, and performance objectives.
• BSc/Ba in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline; professional certification (e.g. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)), and CCNA is a plus)
• Excellent communication skills
4-5 years experience in UAE
