Job Summary:

The IT Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of networks, servers, and systems. This role ensures security, efficiency, and accessibility of IT resources to support business operations and productivity.

Principal Accountabilities



Administer and maintain IT systems, including servers, networks, and databases.

Implement and enforce IT security policies to protect company data and systems.

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network-related issues.

Manage system updates, software installations, and patches to ensure optimal performance.

Monitor IT infrastructure, identifying and resolving potential risks proactively.

Oversee user account management, permissions, and access controls.

Maintain IT documentation, including configurations, procedures, and policies.

Ensure business continuity through data backup and disaster recovery strategies.

Collaborate with departments to address IT needs and improve operational efficiency.

Coordinate with vendors and service providers for IT procurement and maintenance.

Knowledge & Experience:



Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.

Minimum 4 years of experience in IT administration or network management.

Expertise in Windows and Linux operating systems, networking protocols, and cybersecurity.

Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and virtualization.

Familiarity with IT compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).

Strong understanding of enterprise software solutions and IT service management tools.

Experience in FortiGate firewall and Cisco switches
