Job Description

: Supervises and coordinates the movement of all personnel and materials in Upper Zakum artificial islands. Receipt and dispatch of materials to and from Mussafah Base utilizing the most effective means of transportation to ensure that these activities are carried out safely and efficiently . Assists the site emergency controller during emergencies as required
Liaison with Drilling, Construction and Camp Management to plan daily handling and transportation of materials and personnel to meet the island requirements. Recommends and implements the most operationally effective methods of transportation that effectively utilizes available sea and air transportation resources.
Supervises and coordinates all helicopter operations to and from the island. Ensure that the safety aspects related to embarking and disembarking passengers are observed at all times, and the safe operation of the helipad area.
Assists site Emergency Controller as member of the site emergency control team.
Supervise the on-island Logistic Contractor to ensure on time delivery of requirements.
Provide instructions to the Logistics Contractor\'s Crane Operator and his Riggers relating to boat movements and priorties, and ensure cranes do not interfere with Helicopter safe landing. Ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with safe working practices and regulations.
Maintains detailed records analysis of all traffic operations, including helicopter trips, number of personnel transfers, supply boat loading and offloading. Prepare month-end statistics for inclusion in monthly report.
Ensures and maintains the detailed records of all waste containers, handling equipment
(containers, baskets, rack and lifting gear etc.) and ensure transportation to Mussafah.
Supervises the Personnel Tracking System for the island and interface with Zadco LG\'s on island passenger terminal team.
Develops and implements training program for UAE Nationals.
Performs duties in a safe, professional and efficient manner, complying with HSE Requirements related to all job activities. Familiarize & maintain proper and continuous knowledge of Company\'s HSE procedures, rules and regulations & abide by them at all times. Follow waste management plans.
Planning for annual budgets for on-island activities.
Regular contacts at own or next higher level with Abu Dhabi, Zirku and Mussafah to coordinate operations. Daily contact with Logistic Contractor, Camp Contractor, Drilling, Construction and EPC Contractors.
Work is carried out in accordance with standard procedures and/or specific work requirements. Deals with traffic matters independently and makes routine decisions covering helicopter movement\'s crew/utility service vessels in the field and supply boat loading and offloading. Work is subject to review.
