Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Development and Instruction:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive Islamic studies curriculum that aligns with the school's educational philosophy and standards.
• Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences.
• Use a variety of teaching methodologies, including lectures, discussions, and hands-on activities to engage students.
• Assess and evaluate student progress, providing feedback to guide their spiritual and academic growth.
• Classroom Management:
• Establish and enforce rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining order among students.
• Create a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and growth.
• Address and resolve any behavioral issues in accordance with school policies.
• Student Support:
• Provide support and guidance to students on spiritual and moral issues.
• Encourage students to develop a strong, personal connection with their faith.
• Offer extra help and support to students who require additional assistance in understanding Islamic teachings.
• Communication:
• Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns.
• Participate in parent-teacher conferences and other meetings as required.
• Collaborate with colleagues and school administration to enhance the overall educational experience.
• Professional Development:
• Stay current with developments in Islamic education and pedagogy.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
• Engage in reflective practices to continually improve instructional effectiveness.
• School Activities:
• Contribute to the development and implementation of school-wide Islamic events and activities.
• Encourage student participation in extracurricular activities related to Islamic studies.
• Support the school's mission and values through active involvement in school life.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Islamic Studies, Education, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in Islamic education are preferred.

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
