:Irrigation DesignerDubai, UAEParsons is looking for an amazingly talented Irrigation Designer to join our team! In this role you will get to p erforms a variety of engineering tasks by applying standard engineering techniques and analyses within a discipline .What You\'ll Be Doing:Read, understand project scope related to fully automated irrigation system to carry out the design works.Collect relevant data from internal departments related to automatic irrigation design works like, pump station location , capacity, network routing etc.Collect required landscape elements from inhouse team to proceed required irrigation system.Develop fully automatic irrigation design strategy concept report, prepare irrigation typical details as per project scope.Preparation of valve flow calculations, hydraulic calculations for the project requirements.Preparation and segregation of individual hydro zone based on design concept strategy.Develop design in CAD for Automatic irrigation mainline, sub main, valves, lateral line as per hydro zone.Develop control cable design and allocate the controller based on pump capacity and operation requirements.Introducing central control system and integration with SCADA for the community projects as per client requirements.Preparation of Irrigation combined valve schedule within the operational window.Preparation of Quantity take off based on the design / estimated quantity based on concept design.Review drawings against the project scope of works and make necessary proposals as per client requirements.Typical products may include detailed calculations, drawings, design and installation packages, proposal evaluations, technical reports, and detailed analyses.Provides support for other engineering activities as required for management.May be assigned to a project or organizational team, or as a lead engineer for a specific discipline on a small to intermediate size project.Provides input and technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, and lower-level Engineers working on the same project.Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.What Required Skills You\'ll Bring:Bachelor of Civil / Agriculture Engineering from an accredited University.Very familiar in Auto CAD. Moderate knowledge in MicroStation software to carry out the irrigation design.Minimum 5+ years experience in Design of fully automatic irrigation system.Have knowledge in sub surface irrigation system design elements.Knowledge and work experience in Automatic Irrigation system, Irrigation Network, Pipelines, Connection Chambers and Pumping Station works, non-disruptive road crossings.Experience in dealing with emergency works and ability to deal with the Public and coordinate with various infrastructure Authorities related to the Projects.Exceptional communication skills in both verbal and written English are required.Experience advising client of best systems, materials, products, and sustainability for irrigation systems.What Desired Skills You\'ll Bring:Proficiency in computer knowledge.Proficiency in utilizing Bentley water typically associated with engineering is a plus.Have full and complete knowledge of existing irrigation system in the Emirates of Dubai.Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Not Applicable/NoneParsons is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
