The IRD Supervisor is responsible for delivering exceptional service to all guests, effectively planning and organizing tasks, managing team members and supplies, and representing the company professionally.
  • Direct and delegate tasks, providing clear instructions to the team during shifts.
  • Train, motivate, and evaluate new and existing staff.
  • Evaluate and adjust staffing requirements per shift to ensure optimal service.
  • Check preparations before and during the shift to ensure readiness.
  • Monitor task progress and delivery, ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Supervise restaurant opening and closing procedures.
  • Perform proper shift handovers to keep colleagues informed of important developments.
  • Respond promptly to guest complaints and questions.
  • Inform management of VIP guest visits.
  • Promote up-selling and cross-selling among associates.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Maintain open communication with the kitchen about changes, dietary requests, and VIPs.
  • Conduct daily briefings and allocate tasks, keeping accurate records.
  • Ensure supplies and stock meet requirements, advising the restaurant manager on necessary materials.
  • Handle menus properly, replacing damaged or outdated materials.
  • Check bills, table progress, and wait times for food and drinks to prevent errors.
  • Ensure all staff adhere to HACCP and hygiene standards at all times.
  • Maintain awareness of health and safety requirements and ensure associates are informed.
  • Collaborate with the F&B management team on new ideas and departmental improvements.
  • Stay knowledgeable about all products to assist guests and staff effectively.
Desired Skill & Expertise
  • A minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience is essential.
  • Preferably experienced in high-volume food and beverage operations.
  • Consistently provides excellent customer service to all guests.
  • Skilled in planning and organizing tasks, personnel, and supplies.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven experience in food safety and hygiene.
  • Advanced customer service abilities.
