Position Overview
The Real Estate Investment Manager is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and executing investment strategies in real estate markets, including residential, commercial, and alternative real estate assets. The role involves managing investment portfolios, ensuring alignment with financial goals, and maintaining risk management practices. The Real Estate Investment Manager will also source transactions across the following strategies:

Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) targeting real estate opportunities, pre-leased
properties, and distressed asset acquisitions.
Private Placement opportunities, offering real estate-backed investment-solutions to investors and institutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Investment Strategy Development
Identify and implement investment opportunities in real estate markets, including direct acquisitions, joint ventures, and REITs.
Lead investor pitch meetings, track deal flow, and conduct real estate market research.
Stay informed on global and regional real estate trends, macroeconomic factors, and regulatory changes affecting real estate investments.
2. Fundraising Initiatives
Engage with institutional investors, private equity firms, and high-net-worth individuals (HNIs) to raise funds for real estate investments.
Lead conference calls, webinars, and presentations to attract potential investors.
Develop and maintain relationships with investment partners, developers, and financial institutions.
3. Asset Analysis and Selection
Evaluate potential real estate investments through financial modeling, valuation, and forecasting.
Assess property fundamentals, location dynamics, market demand, and competitive positioning of target assets.
Conduct due diligence, including legal, financial, and operational analysis of real estate assets.
4. Private Equity and Real Estate Investment Management
Source and evaluate real estate investment opportunities, including distressed assets, pre-leased properties, and development projects.
Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and capital structure analysis for real estate transactions.
Negotiate deal terms, structure transactions, and coordinate with legal and financial advisors.
5. Portfolio Management
Monitor and manage real estate investment portfolios to ensure they align with risk-return objectives.
Conduct performance reviews and implement asset management strategies to maximize returns.
Optimize portfolio allocation through diversification and market-responsive investment strategies.
6. Reporting and Communication
Prepare and present detailed investment reports, market insights, and portfolio performance updates to senior management and investors.
Communicate investment strategies, rationale, and expected returns to stakeholders.
Ensure regulatory compliance, documentation accuracy, and adherence to internal investment policies.
7. Team Collaboration and Leadership
Work with other investment professionals, asset managers, and finance teams to drive high-performance results.
Mentor and collaborate with junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and strategic thinking.
Qualifications and Skills
Education
:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Business, or a related field.
Master's degree, CA, CFA, or certifications in real estate investment (e.g., CCIM, RICS) preferred.
Experience
:
Proven experience in real estate investment management, including direct acquisitions, asset management, and portfolio strategy.
Skills
:
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and real estate valuation.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities to engage investors and stakeholders.
Ability to make informed decisions under pressure in dynamic real estate markets.
