Private EquityMiddle East10 - 15 yearsAbout our clientOur client is a Middle Eastern family which owns a number of businesses in multiple sectors. The companies have a successful track record of generating strong returns over generations and is well established in the UAE. What the job involvesThe investment manager will work closely with the the finance team of the family-owned conglomerate, and the family on the following matters:
- Strategic asset allocation across asset classes including equities, fixed income, property, commodities and alternative investments
- Evaluating investment opportunities and presenting/discussing findings with the family
- Playing a role in due diligence and financing of property transactions
- Working with third parties including banks, investment managers and legal/tax advisors
- Monitoring the performance of the existing assets
- Representing the family where appropriate through direct involvement with portfolio companies
- Bachelor\'s degree in a quantitative subject such as Finance, Economics and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Master of Business Administration (MBA)
- Experience within a family office or private bank across asset classes, and a track record of working with wealthy individuals and families
- Willingness to be based in the UAE
