Citi is looking for Placement Analysts to join the Middle East & Africa Investment Banking team based in Dubai for 6 months.The Middle East & Africa Investment Banking team advises corporate clients on M&A and IPO transactions in the booming Middle East & Africa region. As a Placement Analyst you will be at the heart of corporate finance, and you will be at the forefront of executions / pitches with direct exposure to some of the largest corporations.What youll doWork with senior investment bankers in executing live transactions and preparing pitches as a junior member of the Investment Banking teamAssist in the preparation of pitchbooksEvaluate a companys financial performance compared to overall industry and market trendsCollect and analyze company information to assist transactions, including conducting industry research, and analyzing financial dataDevelop valuation analyses and financial models, including Trading and Transaction Comparables, Discounted Cash Flow analyses, LBOs and Merger ModelsWhat well need from youYou are available to start work in the next 1-2 monthsStrong academics, have achieved a 2:1 equivalent to 3.0 GPA out of 4.0 at undergraduate levelIntellectual curiosity and proactive mindsetStrong communication, planning, and organizational skillsAbility to work in diverse teamsYou are fluent in EnglishWe will recruit on a rolling basis and therefore encourage you to apply as soon as possible.This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
