Our client is a premier advisory firm specializing in delivering strategic M&A advisory services across various industries. They are expanding their team and seeking a dedicated First-Year Associate to join their M&A Execution Team, focusing on the European markets.Responsibilities:- Assist in the execution of M&A transactions, including due diligence, financial modeling, valuation, & preparation of transaction documents
- Support the senior team in managing all aspects of the deal process, from initial client pitch to deal closure.
- Conduct market research & analysis to identify potential opportunities & trends within European M&A landscape
- Participate in client meetings and presentations, providing insights and updates on the deal progress
- Prepare & review transaction-related documents - Information Memorandums, Teasers, & Board presentations
- Coordinate and manage due diligence processes, liaising with clients, legal teams, and other stakeholders
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support valuation analysis and strategic decision-making
- Assist in negotiations by preparing negotiation materials and providing analytical supportRequirements:- Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master\'s degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA, ACA) is a plus
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in M&A deal execution, specifically within the European markets
- Ideally coming from a bulge bracket investment bank or a boutique advisory firm
