Job Description
We are seeking a talented Investment Analyst to join our Higher Education clients dynamic team. You will play a key role in evaluating potential investments for their growing business. The role will evaluate startup investments, the development of global partnerships, and the monitoring of the university endowment fund.Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis of companies using industry-standard financial modelling techniques.
- Build and maintain complex financial models to assess investment viability and risk.
- Contribute to the research and due diligence process for potential investments.
- Prepare compelling investment presentations for senior management.
- Stay abreast of market trends and economic developments in the Middle East.
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering with MBA being an advantage
- 3-5 years\' experience as an Investment Analyst in a Big 4 accounting firm or private equity firm preferably in the Middle East.
- Strong academic background in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven ability to build and manipulate complex financial models using Excel and other software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in financial modelling best practices.
- Financial Modeling and Valuation Analyst (FMVA) Qualification or similar industry equivalent
- Arabic language would be a distinct advantage
