We are engaged by our client, a leading contract logistics solutions provider, who seeks an experienced Inventory Manager to lead the organizations inventory operations. Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement inventory management policies, procedures, and best practices to optimize inventory levels and accuracy.
  • Monitor inventory levels and trends to identify potential issues and opportunities for improvement.
  • Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate receipt, storage, and distribution of inventory.
  • Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy and address any discrepancies.
  • Analyze inventory data and reports to identify trends, forecast demand, and make recommendations for inventory optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, reduce costs, and improve inventory accuracy and efficiency.
  • Utilize inventory management software and systems to track inventory levels, monitor stock movements, and generate reports.
  • Train and supervise inventory control staff to ensure adherence to inventory management policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Experience and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
  • 5 years experience in inventory management or related roles.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management principles, techniques, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and systems (e.g., ERP, WMS).
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret and analyze inventory data and reports.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
  • University degree Certification in inventory management like CPIM & CSCP is a plus.
  • Previous experience with Manhattan or similar WMS technology an advantage.
