Responsible for monitoring and organizing inventory in the factory to ensure the accurate and efficient availability of raw materials and finished products, ensuring the smooth flow of production operations in the factory without problems related to material shortages or surpluses, thereby contributing to supporting production and sales operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor stock levels of raw materials (such as essential oils, alcohol, packaging, etc.) and finished perfume products.
Track expiration dates of raw materials and final products, especially essential oils and chemicals.
Ensure timely availability of raw materials and products to avoid production stoppages or delays in fulfilling orders.
Update inventory records regularly using digital inventory management systems (ERP) or manual systems.
Conduct periodic inventory counts, and ensure inventory accuracy.
Store materials in an organized manner according to safety and quality procedures, paying attention to specific storage conditions for chemicals and essential oils.
Track material movement between warehouses and production departments, ensuring timely provision of materials for production processes.
Provide regular reports on inventory levels and material movement analysis.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of materials.
Monitor the quality of incoming materials and ensure they meet required specifications, liaising with suppliers to resolve any issues.
Organize inventory within the warehouses to ensure easy access and reduce the potential for loss or damage.
Record any loss or damage and report it to management, identifying potential causes and taking necessary steps to minimize it.
Ensure compliance with all policies related to the storage of materials and perfumes, including occupational health and safety procedures.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
A diploma degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
At least two years of experience in inventory management, preferably in the perfume or chemical industries.
Good knowledge of digital inventory management systems or ERP software.
Knowledge of safety and quality procedures, especially concerning the storage of chemicals.
Knowledge of chemical storage systems and essential oils.
A good understanding of perfume components and the raw materials used in perfume production.
