In this critical role, you will manage pharmaceutical and medical supplies, ensuring timely availability, compliance with healthcare standards, and seamless inventory operations to support patient care excellence.Responsibilities
Oversee the ordering, receipt, storage, and distribution of pharmaceutical and medical supplies.
Ensure all stock complies with healthcare standards and regulations, including proper storage conditions and expiration tracking.
Conduct regular inventory audits to avoid stock discrepancies and prevent overstocking or shortages.
Use ERP systems and barcoding solutions to maintain accurate inventory records and streamline operations.
Coordinate with vendors and hospital departments to resolve order discrepancies and ensure timely deliveries.
Respond to urgent inventory needs, including product recalls, with speed and precision.
Prepare detailed inventory reports for management, including stock levels, movements, and compliance documentation.
Maintain a clean and safe stockroom, adhering to pharmaceutical safety and storage protocols.
Oversee the management of controlled substance medications while ensuring full compliance with regulatory protocols and standards.
Qualifications
A diploma or degree in pharmacy, supply chain management, or a related field.
2xe2x80x933 years in inventory management within a hospital and pharmaceutical environment.
Knowledge of pharmaceutical storage requirements, including temperature control and regulatory compliance.
Procurement experience of registered and non-registered medications as well as handling larger portfolio medical consumables. * Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and strong computer literacy.
Excellent organizational and mathematical skills, with the ability to manage complex inventory systems.
A proactive mindset, capable of addressing and resolving inventory challenges effectively.

Physical demands may include keyboard use, operating office and audiovisual equipment, lifting up to 30 lbs, standing for up to 8 hours, and mobility to visit departments. Normal or corrected vision and hearing are required.
