Job Title: Inventory Clerk with Accounting Background

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate inventory counts, verifying warehouse documents, and managing the movement of stock between the warehouse, consignment stores, and suppliers. The Inventory Clerk will also assist with monthly physical counts, handle inventory entries into the Odoo system, and maintain thorough product knowledge. An accounting background and proficiency with office tools are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inventory Checks and Reconciliation:

o Verify the physical count of inventory leaving the warehouse with Delivery Receipts (DR) and invoices.

o Ensure accurate tracking of inventory sent to Kiosks, Carrefour, and other consignment stores.

o Verify inventory returns and credit notes from customers.

o Track imports and local purchases, ensuring correct documentation (commercial invoices, tax invoices) is in place.

• Warehouse Coordination:

o Coordinate and check monthly physical inventory counts to ensure accuracy.

o Verify warehouse documents to confirm correct inventory movement and storage.

o Regularly count and track the top 10 items for inventory management.

• Conversion and Stock Movement:

o Verify conversion notes (stock out for conversion, stock in from conversion).

o Manage inventory movements associated with stock conversions.

• Data Entry and Reporting:

o Perform accurate data entry into the Odoo system for inventory tracking and management.

o Ensure inventory data is up-to-date, accurate, and aligns with physical counts.

• General Responsibilities:

o Maintain product knowledge and stay updated on inventory trends and stock levels.

o Ensure all processes comply with internal policies and external regulations.

o Provide support in resolving inventory discrepancies and reporting issues to management.

Required Qualifications:

• Proficiency in office tools (Excel, Word, etc.) with a keen attention to detail and strong numerical accuracy.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles, preferably with an Accounting degree.
• Knowledge and experience with Odoo Software or similar inventory management systems.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or a similar field.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines & Willingness to travel / relocate
