: Inventory Auditor

Overview: An inventory auditor ensures that inventory and financial records are accurate and consistent. The auditor provides strategies to mitigate inventory inconsistencies, with the goal of improving the company's internal control on inventory and tracking for consistent financial accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Proficiency:
• Utilize advanced MS Excel tools, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables, for inventory management.
• Record inventory and data through Google Sheets.
• Analytical Skills:
• Apply basic math and statistical proficiency to identify potential inconsistencies and determine error sources.
• Analyze accounting and inventory information regularly to verify previous audits' accuracy and investigate inconsistencies.
• Verification Tasks:
• Verify information about product quantity, designation, location, and inventory acquisition.
• Conduct analysis and verification of purchases, sales, and returns from various locations to the warehouse.
• Detection and Prevention:
• Detect potential unethical practices, financial discrepancies, and missing inventory.
• Enhance loss prevention processes by examining inventory and financial data.
• Process Improvement:
• Improve operational processes, reduce inconsistencies, and eliminate obsolete stock.
• Implement and refine systems, practices, and ideologies to enhance the organization's inventory control system.
• Travel Requirements:
• Travel across all Emirates of the United Arab Emirates for stock reconciliation.
• Possession of a valid UAE driving license

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in accounting software.
• Attention to detail and a strong sense of ethics.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Requirements:

• Vast experience in inventory recording and data management.
• Ability to identify and resolve inventory and financial discrepancies.
• Willingness and ability to travel as required.
