Position Overview: The Inventory and Cost Control Officer is responsible for overseeing inventory management, ensuring accurate tracking of stock, and controlling costs associated with inventory. The officer will work closely with purchasing, finance, and operations teams to maintain optimal inventory levels, prevent loss, and ensure cost-effective practices across the supply chain. The role requires a combination of organizational, analytical, and communication skills to help the company maintain efficient operations and profitability.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Experience:
• 2-5 years of experience in inventory management, cost control, or a similar role.
• Familiarity with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
• Experience in cost analysis and budget management is highly desirable.
• Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office software.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Certifications:
• Certification in inventory management (e.g., CPIM, CIRM) is a plus.
Working Conditions:
• Full-time position, Monday through Friday.
• Occasional overtime may be required.
• Office-based role with periodic site visits for physical inventory counts.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
