:One of the high-tech healthcare facilities is the region's biggest private referral hospital offering effective medical care in a professional and caring environment is looking for Interventional Cardiology Consultant.As an Interventional Cardiology Consultant, you will specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases using minimally invasive procedures and advanced catheter-based techniques. You will provide expert interventional cardiology care to patients, focusing on coronary artery disease, structural heart disease, and peripheral vascular disease. Your expertise will contribute to improving patient outcomes, enhancing quality of life, and advancing the field of interventional cardiology within our institution.
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with cardiovascular disorders, including angina, acute coronary syndrome, valvular heart disease, and peripheral artery disease.
Perform detailed clinical evaluations, review diagnostic tests, and interpret imaging studies to accurately diagnose cardiac conditions and determine appropriate treatment strategies.
Perform a wide range of interventional cardiology procedures, including coronary angiography, percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), coronary stent placement, balloon valvuloplasty, transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), and peripheral artery interventions.
Utilize advanced imaging modalities, such as intravascular ultrasound (IVUS), optical coherence tomography (OCT), and fractional flow reserve (FFR), to optimize procedural planning and outcomes.
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including cardiac surgeons, electrophysiologists, imaging specialists, and cardiac rehabilitation providers, to coordinate comprehensive care for patients with complex cardiovascular conditions.
Provide pre-procedural counseling and education to patients and their families regarding interventional cardiology procedures, risks, benefits, and post-procedural care instructions.
Participate in on-call coverage schedules to provide timely evaluation and management of acute cardiac emergencies, such as ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) and high-risk unstable angina.
Engage in clinical research and scholarly activities to advance the understanding of interventional cardiology techniques, outcomes, and innovations, contributing to the academic mission of the institution.
Mentor and supervise trainees, including cardiology fellows, residents, and allied healthcare professionals, in the performance of interventional cardiology procedures and patient care.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of procedural details, patient outcomes, and follow-up care in electronic medical records, in compliance with regulatory requirements and institutional policies.
Requirements-Experience From US (Board), Canada (Royal College Fellowship) UK (CCT), Ireland (CSD, CSCST), Australia &NZ (Fellowship), France (DES, DESC), And Other European Countries According to The Qualification Equivalence Tables of the UAE- MOH -Minimum 2 to 3 years experience in a hospital environment - Western and Asian countries experience is preferred.
