The International Service Engineer enables chargeable field service repair, maintenance, and inspection work at customer work sites in multiple countries in the MEA region to drive service revenue and excellence in compliance with all administrative requirements. International Service Engineers are required to perform in a professional manner to provide customers with the highest possible level of service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned. Provide chargeable service, warranty repairs and inspection work at our customers premises in countries within MEA and if needed in wider regions. Must have the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment faults over the phone, in person or using other use of our Tier technical team. Ensure they work to, and uphold, the Company's health and safety policy as well as ensuring their work area/ any service vehicle is well presented and upholds the Company's image. Responsible for correct management of service van, stock, and tools if supplied. Instruct operators and customers with correct operation and maintenance schedules. Provide (internal) technical training to distributors/customers and service partners. Carry out pre-inspection on used equipment and report to JLG used department. Provide backup support for Service Coordinator to ensure all customer questions are being answered. Monitor & Support Distributor / Customer Accounts as required (Parts, Service, Warranty) Ability to travel daily from your home and stay away over night as and when required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Technical Qualification in mechanical, electrical, or automotive engineering High School Diploma / Degree Five (5) or more years of Automotive, Commercial vehicle, Material handling, Access, or Agricultural tech experience. Fluent in English, Arabic is an advantage. Driver's license Full.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
IPAF certificate. Microsoft Office Suite. Good communications skills. Experience with Access / Material Handling / Crane Equipment
