As the International Medical Director, CKD and Hyperkalemia, you will be at the forefront of prelaunch and launch activities, working cross-functionally to deliver medical objectives and build medical capabilities within our teams. This role is based in Dubai, Singapore or possibly any of our AZ International Office locations.Accountabilities: In this role, you will design the International medical strategy for our CKD and Hyperkalaemia portfolio. You will co-create the regional brand strategy with commercial leads, ensuring alignment on key objectives. You will lead prelaunch/launch planning and activities across International for CKD and Hyperkalemia. You will provide medical input and expertise for Regional Commercial, Regulatory, and Market Access functions. You will also support and influence key area/country medical teams, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary training, skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality medical affairs communication and activities.Essential Skills/Experience: - MD, Pharmacist, or strong scientific background with preferably advance degree, a PhD in a scientific field. - Proven 3+ years of experience in medical affairs leadership role including experience of strategic medical planning, launch planning and execution. Above market experience is a plus. - Solid track record of communication, and Influencing skills. - Solid experience in team management and project management - Extensive experience in collaboration with external parties and managing cross-functional and cross-cultural teams. - Solid business understanding - Knowledge of the regulatory, clinical research and compliance framework in which we operate.When we put unexpected teams in the same room, we fuel bold thinking with the power to inspire life-changing medicines.
