As an Internal Auditor, your primary responsibility is to evaluate and assess the effectiveness of an organization's internal controls, risk management processes, and governance practices. You will conduct independent and objective audits to ensure compliance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Your role is crucial in providing assurance to the organization's management and stakeholders regarding the reliability and integrity of financial information, operational processes, and overall risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement comprehensive audit plans based on the organization's objectives, risks, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct audits of various areas, such as financial operations, operational processes, internal controls, and compliance with policies and procedures.
• Identify and assess potential risks within the organization's operations, processes, and systems.
• Collaborate with management to develop strategies for mitigating identified risks and improving control measures.
• Prepare detailed audit reports outlining findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
• Present audit results to management, highlighting areas of concern and opportunities for improvement.
• Provide guidance and recommendations to management on control enhancements and risk mitigation strategies.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Proven experience in internal auditing, risk management, or related areas.
• Strong knowledge of auditing principles, practices, and standards.
