We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical / Public Health Engineering Intern to join our dynamic team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of building services engineering, contributing to impactful projects in the region like high-rise towers, shopping malls and hotels. With comprehensive on-the-job training, interns receive industry exposure and mentorship, immersing themselves into the world of AECOM and its operations. Working alongside experienced professionals on real projects, interns will have the opportunity to gain practical knowledge within the industry.Below are responsibilities you\'ll encounter during your internship, contributing to iconic regional projects:
Assist in the detailed engineering design of piped water supply systems, above and below-ground drainage, including layouts and schematics.
Contribute to the engineering design and layouts of public health and fire protection services.
Collaborate with project teams to prepare comprehensive briefing documentation for water, drainage, and fire protection designs.
Critically review building services documentation (drawings, calculation, and specifications) at all design stages from concept to construction.
Develop proficiency in sustainable plumbing and fire protection system design, applying technical knowledge of hydraulics, piping systems, and equipment.

Currently enrolled in the 2nd or 3rd year of a Mechanical Engineering or Public Health Engineering Bachelor's Degree program at an accredited University
Maintaining a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
Available to participate in our Summer Internship Program from July to August 2024. Please be advised that if either the student or university requires a shorter or longer duration with a varying start/end date to fulfil course requirements, please inform us, and we will assess on a case-by-case basis to explore how we can support.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
