We are seeking an Intern HR Generalist to join our dynamic team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be an Emirati national with proficiency in both Arabic and English, possessing strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn. With a background or studies in HR and/or administration, the Executive HR Generalist will assist our VP People and Culture and HR Generalist in managing the daily HR tasks of our growing startup and will also oversee the HR team globally.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the VP People and Culture and HR Generalist in daily HR operations and tasks.
  • Handle administrative duties related to HR, including but not limited to, maintaining employee records, drafting HR documents, and scheduling interviews.
  • Coordinate recruitment efforts, including job postings, screening candidates, and scheduling interviews.
  • Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
  • Manage employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions, in collaboration with the HR team.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of HR policies and procedures.
  • Oversee HR-related projects and initiatives, ensuring timely completion and effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Serve as a point of contact for HR inquiries from employees, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Stay updated on UAE labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance with local requirements.
  • Assist in organizing training and development programs for employees to enhance their skills and knowledge.


Requirements to apply

  • Collaborate with the HR team globally to ensure consistency in HR practices and processes across different locations.
  • Work on the MERIT AMBASSADOR program to engage employees in promoting the company's branding and values.
  • Support and drive the culture of the company through diverse employee engagement programs and initiatives.
  • Be responsible for the internal employee engagement platform, working closely with our internal account manager to ensure its effectiveness and relevance.
  • Any other HR-related tasks or projects as assigned by the VP People and Culture or HR Generalist.
