Job Description

The Interior Site Foreman oversees and manages the day-to-day operations of interior construction projects, ensuring that work is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The role involves coordinating with subcontractors, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management:
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers and subcontractors on-site.
• Ensure that project milestones are met according to the project schedule.
• Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as necessary to meet deadlines.
• Resource Management:
• Manage and allocate materials, tools, and equipment efficiently.
• Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of materials to prevent damage or loss.
• Communication:
• Act as the primary point of contact between the construction team and project stakeholders.
• Communicate project updates, changes, and issues to the Project Manager.
• Address any concerns or feedback from clients or stakeholders promptly.
• Documentation:
• Maintain accurate records of work progress, daily logs, and any changes to the project scope.
• Prepare and submit reports as required by the Project Manager.
• Ensure all required documentation is completed and filed properly.
• Team Leadership:
• Lead and motivate the on-site team to maintain high levels of productivity and morale.
• Resolve conflicts and manage personnel issues as they arise.
• Provide guidance and training to team members as necessary.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in construction management is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Site Foreman or similar role in interior construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficiency in using construction management software and tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
